- Truly handmade, not machine-made — each cave is hand-felted in Kathmandu, Nepal from a single piece of merino wool, with no sewing machine and no stitched seams, so there's nothing to ever split or unravel.
- Made from 100% natural merino wool with no synthetic filling and no plastic, it's a breathable, chemical-free material that's safe for cats to nap inside while keeping them warm in winter and cool in summer.
- Holds its dome shape instead of sagging — dense hand-felted walls stay upright for years, and the cave presses flat into an open lounging mat then springs back into a cozy cave, giving you two beds in one.
- Easy to keep fresh: real wool naturally resists odors, dirt, and stains, and spot-cleaning with a little mild soap and cool water is all it needs — no machine wash required.
- Sized for cats and kittens up to roughly 15 lbs, the snug enclosed dome gives shy cats a private, calming retreat — and because each one is hand-felted in Nepal, no two are alike, making a one-of-a-kind gift.
